Today is grey. It’s mild out with a promise to get warmer but the air has a thickness to it that says rain is on its way. The forecast supports this as the entire week shows the possibility of showers and thunderstorms. It figures that the last week we had that was sunny and lovely every single day was also one of the most stressful weeks for me, which meant I couldn’t actually enjoy the weather. Such is how it goes, though, and I hope there will be many more weeks this Spring and Summer that are beautiful and easygoing.

Thanks to Memorial Day, this coming weekend is a longer, 3-day one. I took the opportunity to try to take Friday off so I could extend the mini vacation and got the go-ahead as long as nothing huge comes up. Huzzah for 4-day weekends with my family!

Well, since I started writing this post, I’ve been gone for 2 hours on a quick install. Now it is sunny out and getting warmer. There is still a hazy feel to the day, rather than a crisp, clear Spring feeling, but I’ll take it over the dreary doldrums of a rainy day.

I’m afraid, as of right now, I have nothing much else to write about, so rather than leaving this post perpetually unfinished, I’ll just close it here and see what the rest of the day brings.
